Methods of Procrastination - Wordle

Today I was introduced to Wordle by Lisa Bouchard. You enter some text and it creates a random picture of the words that appear the most. I think. Instead of entering text, I entered my blog url. And the above is what it came up with!

This isn't as big a procrastination method as, say, Pinterest (oh, Pinterest.... *sigh*). Which is probably a good thing, because who needs to waste any more time than they already do?!

What procrastination methods have you used lately?

Come back tomorrow for a
GIVEAWAY!
(Update: and by "tomorrow" I may possibly have actually meant Friday!)

My most recent procrastination method has been watching Doctor Who. Yes, I'm addicted! Blast Netflix and my obsessive personality. And blast English accents. I'm a sucker for em. Anyway, hopefully soon I'll be finished with the 6 seasons and I can get back to normal life. haha

Haven't tried Wordle yet and trying to stay away from Pinterest. Blogging is distracting enough!

I just started using Pinterest. Podcasts would be my biggest procrastination method, though. By quite a bit.

Mine is reading and commenting on blog posts! lol.

Today's procrastination included shredding, dusting and buying myself flowers! Oh, and buying the things I need to decorate the bathroom - thus preparing for Saturday's procrastination. I don't think I need anymore help!

Julia - I'm one of those people who has yet to watch Dr Who!

Alex - Stay away from Pinterest if you can! Hehe ;-)

Hektor - I've never done a podcast before. Reading other people's blogs would be my biggest procrastination method!

Fairview - Commenting on blog posts. Same here!

Annalisa - You seem to be doing just fine in the procrastination department!

I LOVE Wordle!! It's a good tool to plug in a story and see if you've overused a particular word. :) Erm, I'm staying AWAY from Pinterest! I have enough procrastination tools at my disposal with FB, Twitter, and blogging. :D

Ditto what Carol said about Wordle--I think it's a great writer's tool. I don't use it often though.

I procrastinate on FB and reading/commenting on blogs and watching TV.

Yep, just had to follow you on Pinterest...because it's my favourite way to waste time. But really, who knew there were so many things you could make with leftover chicken?! Haha :)

Watching YouTube videos. There are too many interesting vloggers with too many past videos . . . LOL.

I haven't tried Wordle or Pinterest yet; I'm hoping to stay away from both of them. I do procrastinate with youtube videos though. Clips from the Ellen Show are addicting, along with cat videos. Kinda lame, but I like them. :)

I love Wordle! I use it when I get to the final stages of editing to see how many of those overused words I've got!

Oooh, Wordle. Sounds fun, er, I mean useful...as a writing resource. I will have to check it out. Because I have nothing else to do, right?

Wordle is REASEARCH, I'm telling you! It was my first glimpse into how often I use the word "breathe." Really! It was HUGE in my YA Romance - yes, just what every teen wants to read about - breathing! :P

I love anything that takes me away from writing including reading for pleasure or for review.
I just gave my FB game addiction to get some writing done, so no Pinterest for me, though I do get lost in DeviantART...some of the work is amazing, book cover images worthy.

Pinterest - how I love you. LOL.

Love Wordle, too.

I used for a project once and found it to be fun!

I can never get Wordle to work for me for some reason. I don't know what the problem is. So seeing posts about it always makes me sad...

But then I look over at your awesome covers and feel better. ;D

StumbleUpon is a big time-waster for me. Also, Jetpack Joyride on my iPad.

It's a good distraction. But don't let it curb your work.
