Definitely! Since it's my job, I want to grow and develop as a writer - and hopefully have longevity!

Writing is definitely a career and sometimes like a job. Unfortunately the pay is often lousy as are the hours. LOL!

Being a writer is what I am, so I call it a career. And I agree with Cherie. The pay and hours are horrible!

I don't necessarily see my writing as a career, because I have another career already. But to me, writing is definitely more than "just a hobby". So I dunno...

I definitely see writing as my career. Just need to get there. Until then, I will work by day and write by night. :D
