November: Both a Fail and a Win!

The Fail

So ... NaNoWriMo didn't happen. I didn't get further than a partial plot! I was pretty bummed about this, but there is a reason for it ...

The Win

I started receiving loads of Morgan Media work at the beginning of November. This stressed me out at first because I kept feeling guilty about not writing. I mean, it was NOVEMBER! The month in which I was supposed to write a whole NEW BOOK! But about halfway through the month I told myself to get over it and just enjoy doing the other work without feeling guilty. I probably needed a break from writing anyway!
Here's the number of projects I received in November:

Ebook interior formatting: 10

Print interior formatting: 5

Completed book covers: 15

Book covers still in progress: 5

Social Media graphics: 3

Bookmarks: 32

Animated web bookmarks: 1

Here's a sample of what I did!

Hey, that's pretty amazing! You did a lot of work in November.

I'm no fan of formatting, and I guess I'm not the only one that feels that way about it.
I hope it's rewarding for you!

Gotta agree with Alex. That's a lot of ground covered. You can get some writing done this month to catch up. :)

Life happens while we're making other plans. It's not like you were sitting around doing nothing. What a lot you accomplished this month!

Well, you need to get your side business off the ground, so a new novel will just have to wait. Glad to see it's taking off! :D

I'd say it was a good fail! You made money and did some great work! You can always try again next year. :)

Oh wow I'm thrilled that you're getting so much work!

I finally won NaNo, which I'm stoked about. :-D

Wow Rachel, - your "fail" is better than my win, so congrats on getting a *LOT* done :)

PS: Thanks for your help supporting the 50 States of Pray event - really appreciate it :)

Great to hear that Morgan Media is doing really well. Congrats!

I hope you find time for writing soon though, as (being very selfish here) I'm looking forward to reading more of your work! :-)

That win is definitely a big one! Congrats! And writing will come too. :)

Congrats on all the business you've gotten. Didn't finish Nano either but I don't feel like a failure at all. I started something and have no regrets.

That's alright:) I ended up in pretty much the same boat for Nano WriMo least we tried:)

That's not a fail. You had a pretty big win. Though you still had to find the time to write the new novel :-(
