Trying on my Photoshop Hat with Some Digital Photomanipulations

So ... in case you don't know this about me, I play around on Photoshop in between writing to give my mind a break. I love it. It's so much fun to take raw materials and put them together in a new and artistic (I hope!) way. I get some stock pictures from DeviantArt as well as stock image websites, and today I even used some of my wedding photos!

Anyway, here is some of the random stuff I've done :-)

Those are incredible! I would have no idea where to even begin with photoshop. I'm always impressed when someone can take a simple photograph and make it beautiful like that! I love the one of your wedding photo turned into you in the mountain. Very cool!

Those are some awesome manips, Rachel! I use GIMP all the time for painting/art, but I can do some photo-manips, too. Nothing like THESE, though. ;)

These are beautiful, Rachel! I lost one of my photo editing programs and I hate it. I love playing around with it. I haven't tried photoshop but I want to. I'll probably get lost along the way--when I'm in a creative mode I tend to lose time.

You made a beautiful bride, btw!

These are amazing. Maybe I should hire you to do a cover for me Rachel. My faves include the one where you turned to woman to water. Awesome.

Awesome work! I love playing in Photoshop too. Thought about doing some pre-made book covers for SP authors. Do you put any of your work up for sale?

Thank you, everyone!

Sheena and Tina (and anyone else who may be interested!), I've actually been planning an author services business for several months now (book covers, book trailers, formatting etc). I hope to launch it pretty soon. But obviously I'll make announcements on this blog before it happens :-)

Wow! I'm very impressed. Some of these look like the beginnings of what could be excellent book covers!

I love these. Photoshop is the best. I can't wait to see more projects like these :) The 4th one is my favorite. Very enchanting vibe to it.

Wow, you're really good at that. It's so cool you can do your own covers. *sigh* I'm not really talented that way.

LOVE your work. Like, seriously, LOVE. I was trying to choose a favourite but I love too many of them to highlight just one!
