Holiday Goals

It's the end of term 3 and we have a week off before the final school term of the year begins. I have big plans for this week, plans that begin (and end) with writing 16000 words in 5 days. This works out to 3200 words a day. Now you may be thinking, that's easy, you'll totally manage that, but I am unfortunately one of those writers who mulls things over in my head far too much before putting them down onto a page/screen. Thus, the most I've written in a day is just over 2000 words.
*Sigh*
Setting myself an unrealistic goal here? Probably!

PS. Sorry, second campaigner challenge, it's just not gonna happen!

I believe in you! If you're passionate enough about your story, reaching the goal word count shouldn't be too hard.

You're not the only one who won't be doing the second campaigner's challenge:-)
Best of luck with your word count Rachel.

You can do it! One of my blogger buddies hit 50,000+ in five days last year for Nano, so I know you can do 16,000 in the same amount of time.

Best of luck in reaching your writing goals during your break! It can be hard sometimes, but just stick to your schedule and you'll get it done!

O I can empthaise. I've tried to tell myself I must write x number of words. Now my motto is don'rt set stringent goals that you my fail to meet. tell yourself you will write something today and do yyour best shot, then if you write lots you have gained lots if you write a little at least you've written something.

I love unrealistic goals. When I hit them, I'm exhilarated. When I don't hit them, I tell myself I'm crazy and to do it all over again.

<3 Good luck (you don't need it! you got this!
