Photo Friday (6)

Inanda Seminary students reading.

We've made Stop, Drop and Read a weekly activity at our school this year.
No matter where the girls are, between fourth and fifth period on a Wednesday everyone stops what they're doing, sits down and reads for twenty minutes. I love it!

Hello fellow crusader, good to meet you. I love the stop, drop and read idea! Maybe the word will get around and more schools will pick up the idea.

What wonderful photos! In the top one, the girl on the right looks as if she has two things to read!

The idea of a reading time out is pretty cool. Boy do we need something like that in our schools to get more kids reading.

I found you via the crusade blog. Pleased to 'meet' you!
