Learning to Play with Photoshop

I recently downloaded the trial version of Adobe CS5 Master Collection (because the real deal costs, like, several months' salary!). It's kind of difficult to use. In fact, the majority of the time I didn't know what I was doing! I just Googled* "How to xyz..." and then followed the instructions. Sort of.

I now give you... my new hair :-)

Some time after I posted the orange one on Facebook I received a text from my boyfriend that said something like, "I can't believe you dyed your hair orange and didn't tell me! I had to find out from someone at home!"
Oops. I guess not everyone reads the captions beneath photos!

*Which reminds me: I saw this T-shirt on the weekend that said "I don't need Google, my wife knows everything". Teeheeee! You know when you see something that is just the perfect gift for someone you know? Yeah...

I like the red hair the best. My graphic designer husband can amuse himself for hours in Photoshop. I don't suppose I have to tell you to have fun ^_^

Adobe CS5 is a $2,000 program that requires a pretty significant computer and a lot of expertise.

I like the red hair too! It's fun to play around with Photoshop. I know people don't often read the captions below photos on FB from the weird and clueless comments they sometimes make!

So cool! That kind of stuff is not easy. I can spend hours on photoshop. Sometimes I enjoy it and sometimes I don't. I think these pics are fun though and that's funny about your boyfriend. I am totally diggin' that t-shirt saying. I think I need to get it for my husband. lol

The red hair looks great, but I'm a sucker for purple :-)

I kind of like the purple. Bet that would have shocked the BF.

I love playing around with programs . . . though I've never tried Adobe. (Much less thought about buying it. Way too expensive. :P)

I have to say, I like the purple hair the best. :)

Why mess with perfection? You have gorgeous chestnut brown hair.

On that note... Purple would be fun for a fiendish night out.

...bad as my wife, always doodling with colors ;)

(but I am diggin the red)

If you are thinking of changing the color, I vote Purple!!!!!

Angelina - I have also spent many hours amusing myself :-)

Michael - the latest Adobe CS 5.5 costs $2599, and if I tell Adobe that I live in South Africa the price jumps up to $3159!! Nooooo thank you!

Christine - I had a number of people commenting on how they loved the new colour of my hair and how brave I was to do it... No one read the PHOTOSHOP part of the caption!

Abby - Get the T-shirt! Get the T-shirt!

Sarah, Golden Eagle, Michael, Elliot and Libby - if I had to pick either of these to do for REAL I'd go for the purple ;-)

LOL! I hope your boyfriend won't mind when you change it to aquamarine or day-glo green! :O)

Love it! The purple looks fab! I have the CS5 trial, too. No way can I afford the real version!

Cool hair! Photoshop can be so fun. Alas, I do not have the time to pay or play. *sigh*

Fab photos! I'm wishing for Photoshop, only have Paintshop at the moment *sobs*

Yes... My husband needs a new shirt, lol!

I like your natural hair color best. The milk-chocolate brown is pretty as-is. But what do I know. I'm just a guy.

Between the other two, the purple is really cool, but the red goes much better with your skin tone.

The t-shirt sounds like a riot, but it would need to come with shades to hide the black eye I'd have after the first time I wore it.

OMG, it's universal! My hub would've said the same thing without reading the caption!

I vote for the purple hair!
