You walk into a bookstore and there are two new books on the table in front of you. One has a supercooleye-catching cover, but a really lame title. The other has a drab and boring cover, but a really clever/witty/funny title. Which one do you pick up first?
I have to admit I'd pick up the catchy cover first. But in order for me to actually BUY the book, the jacket copy and the first few paragraphs have to convince me first :-)
I'm with Alex, I think a cool title would catch my eye. I've seen SO many cool covers and designed many myself, but the title is what really holds my attentions.

Looks like cool cover is the runaway winner! That wins for me, too.
